A typical marketing research project consists of five steps:-formulating a (broad) research topic and narrowing it down to specific research problems-choose research methods (exploratory, descriptive, causal)-data collection (developing instruments such as surveys, videos, etc., planning, and actual collection of data)-data analysis (statistical methods)-presenting your findings (written or oral report)Not all projects need to follow exactly the same order.
